What if my vehicle doesn't run?
No problem. We'll come pick it up.
What can I donate?
At this time, we are accepting cars, trucks, vans, RVs, travel trailers, hauling trailers, boats, and motorcycles.
If you have something not on this list, give us a call.
What do I need to do to donate my vehicle?
Provide us with the title and keys to the vehicle. If you do not have title papers call us anyway; other arrangements can be made in most instances.
How is the value of my car determined?
We can refer you to IRS Publication, which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. You can review this publication on the IRS web site. If your donation is worth more than $5,000, you may need an appraisal for tax purposes.
How do I find out what my car is worth?
Visit Kelley Blue Book or NADA Guides to get a general idea of what your car may be worth. Please bear in mind that this is only used as a general guideline and does not indicate the kind of tax deduction you will receive.
What is the process to donate a vehicle?
Once we receive notification that a donor would like to donate a vehicle, a mission representative will call to collect information and make an appointment that is convenient for the donor to pick up the vehicle. When the Vehicle is picked up the title will be signed by the current owner signifying release of ownership and liability. In addition, a DMV Form 262 will be filled out and a donation slip will be offered. After all the paperwork is complete your vehicle will be loaded up and hauled away.
Is my donation tax deductible?
The mission is a 501 (c)  all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
