On January 1, 2016, we extended the Academy from 8-months to 12-months, in order to provide our residents with the best possible chance for success upon graduation, as many of our residents do not have their high school diploma or GED. The Learning Center would serve as dedicate space for tutoring, studying, and general education.

Will you help make this dream a reality? Will you give our residents a gift that gives back to this community, in the form of educated and restored men, women, and families?

The goal of this project is $350,000:

  1. $50,000.00 for electrical and lighting
  2. $100,000.00 for HVAC, climate control and fire suppression
  3. $100,000.00 for flooring, insulation, wallboard, ceilings, finish carpentry
  4. $100,000.00 for a building code-required mechanical elevator per the city permit

Let's do this!

In 2012, with the support of the community, we opened our new Community Center -- complete with classroom space, offices and a 4,200 sq. ft. multi-purpose room. We are now ready to complete this facility as we focus on the second floor, which will provide five new offices, a conference room, new restrooms, and possibly a learning center for our Life Change Academy residents, which we've nicknamed the Restoration Room.
